The business operates as a team of knowledgeable, caring, and experienced groomers, including Jess of "Poochi Pets" and Sarah of "Sarah's home groom." They specialize in small breed dogs and "pretty but practical 'pet trims'," with all groomers trained to high standards who treat every animal in their care as their own. Their aim is to provide a calm, happy environment where pets can enjoy their grooming experience.

They prioritize hygiene and wellbeing of the animals, with every groom including a hygiene trim, nail cutting, and ear cleaning. The salon focuses on kind grooming and therefore does not offer dematting services.

Due to their salon equipment, they are unable to provide grooming services for large breed dogs.
