About Harefield Pets and Grooming
Harefield Pets and Grooming is a pet shop and grooming parlour located in Harefield, a village just outside Uxbridge, Middlesex, and a short drive from Slough, Northwood, Ruislip, Hillingdon, and Denham. The business is owned and run by Sue Hayward, who has been grooming professionally for nearly 30 years but has owned, bred, and shown dogs since 1969.
Sue lived in Canada from 1970-1992, where she began her professional grooming career. She has a particular passion for Poodles and worked for the world-famous Montravia Kennels after returning to the UK.
Sue opened her shop in Harefield in July 1998, initially selling small pets and supplies alongside the grooming service. Over time, she has expanded the grooming section while focusing the retail side on high-quality pet food brands including Hills Science Plan, Technical Dog and Cat food, Arden Grange, James Welbeloved, and Burns Pet Foods.
The shop also features a Fit Fur Life dog treadmill, which can be booked for sessions to help with rehabilitation after illness or injury.
